My expertise is in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults with a particular focus on domestic abuse.
I have a Master of Business and Administration (MBA) from Bradford University School of Management (2000) and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Child Law from Northumbria University (2011).
I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1986 from the Middlesex Hospital, Bloomsbury and worked in the NHS for 17 years, specialising in tropical medicine, infectious diseases and HIV.
